Whats happening in IT nowadays?

I am working in the IT industry since 1993. Before moving to Canada, I was working for a Software Development House in Islamabad. I have been working for Bell Canada, Rogers Telecom and Celestica before working for CIBC. While being with Inforica Canada Inc, I have been exploiting my skills to the very best in the Business Intelligence Applications using state of the art technologies including but not limited to SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence, Oracle PL/SQL, Actuate eReport Development Professional, eSpreadSheets and eFormulaOne, Hyperion Essbase , Clarity Performance Management, BEA Weblogic. Need not to mention, that while working for a chartered bank of Canada, a number of tools have to be used to deliver the final product. These include MS-Office, MS-Windows, Unix Scripting, ETL Tools, Visual Basic, Java, ASP/JSP, HTML, XML, Visio, MS-Project and lot more.

Having a Quality contious aptitude, I managed a Quality Assurance department to fulfil the requirements suggested by both the CMM and ISO 9000 Perfrormance and Quality Management Systems.
